Arvind Dhillon, the driving force behind AD Group, blends entrepreneurial spirit with visionary leadership honed through diverse industry experiences. Immigrating to Canada from India at 15, Arvind’s early ventures, like selling cars and watches in high school, foreshadowed his future in business. Graduating from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2005, he founded Covert Security in 2007, emphasizing quality and affordability in home security. Transitioning successfully into real estate, Arvind’s relentless pursuit of excellence culminated in AD Group’s establishment in 2020. His immigrant background and unwavering commitment to growth define his leadership, steering AD Group towards strategic acquisitions and sustainable expansion.

Giving Back to the Community

Arvind Dhillon, AD Group’s founder, is deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his journey. His personal experiences, including the loss of his mother in 2013, have fueled his passion for philanthropy. During his time spent in hospitals, Arvind witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by medical teams in providing care due to equipment shortages. This inspired him to take action. Since 2015, Arvind has been donating $30,000 annually to Royal Columbian Hospital and Guru Nanak Free Kitchen as well as yearly donations to the BC Cancer Agency and BC Children’s Hospital, bringing his total contributions to over $500,000. Additionally, he actively collects and donates essential items to hospitals, exemplifying his ongoing dedication to supporting healthcare professionals and patients in need. Annually, Arvind proudly sponsors a day of Langhar, where Guru Nanak Free Kitchen provides over 1,000 hot meals and drinks to those in need in the Downtown Eastside. Arvind’s commitment to making a positive impact continues to drive AD Group’s mission of giving back to the community.
